The Tropical House Whitsundays perfectly captures the North Queensland lifestyle. Tropical chic beach house, with breathtaking views over the Whitsunday Islands.

Sleep sweetly; your space has 2 bedrooms - a maximum of 4 guests (children on request). You will be renting downstairs only, but there will be no-one upstairs. You will have the pool to yourself. 

The Shute Harbour peninsula neighbourhood feels like an Island getaway - pristine and quiet. Yet a twelve minute scenic drive through Conway National Park gets you to the seaside township of Airlie Beach (island boat day-trip departures, boutiques, spa salons, gyms, Saturday markets, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets), hire a car (recommended), or walk down the road to the local bus, or island transfer ferries. Arrive in the region via Proserpine Whitsunday Coast Airport, or Hamilton Island and take a ferry to the mainland.

View sunrise across the water, stroll to the end of the street for a meandering bushwalk to a coral fringed beach. Spend dusk on the deck, watch the brilliance of stars appear. Thrillingly, in season, whales can be viewed frolicking in the Bay, the only sound the gentle lap of waves - this tranquil setting is a nature lover's paradise.

The home is not ‘tech’ only one TV, and no ‘mod cons’ (of course we have wi-fi, coffee machines, and cooling overhead fans & a/c)

We are a drive from town so, we strongly suggest that you RENT A CAR to get the most from your holiday.
Before you Arrive:

Make sure you have your transport booked (we have local and major car rental companies). Confirm car rental opening hours in relation to your flight day/time. Heart of the Reef shuttle bus to/from the Proserpine Airport drops off at the top of our street.
Several local businesses deliver platters and food hampers – it can be lovely to have a food hamper waiting for your first meal.
PLEASE NOTE: we don’t take all requested bookings - guests need to be the right fit for our secluded neighbourhood and eclectic retreat. Children by request only

As the properties are self-contained, daily housekeeping is not included however each property contains a few essentials to get you through the first night. This includes toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, and washing powder (if the property has laundry facilities). You may need to purchase extra supplies for the duration of your stay.
