Do we need to complete the booking form?
The booking form needs to be completed and returned 21 days prior to arrival.
You need to ensure you include arrival and departure details to allow us to coordinate the Guest Liaison staff to greet you, or if travelling to Airlie Beach arrange key pick up.
You need to include credit card details to act as the bond/security for the property and complimentary buggy (Golf Buggy applies only to Hamilton Island).
We require at least one drivers licence to be completed.
What are the peak and off-peak seasons?
- Peak-Season applies to the following periods;
- Christmas/New Year
- Easter
- Mid-Season applies to average school holiday period in NSW and Queensland.
- Low-Season applies to all other dates.
What type of deposit is due and when is final payment required?
30% deposit is due at the time of booking; the final balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.
What is the cancellation policy?

Five stars all the way! This is the ideal property if you are looking for a total escape from the hustle and bustle of life. Perfectly located far enough away from the buzz of tourists to allow uninterrupted peace, quiet and relaxation. The views are gorgeous. The decor and styling is eclectic and gives you that island getaway feeling. We enjoyed an easy walk down to the Shute Harbour Marina daily for coffee and you can catch the ferry from here if you plan on organising any day trips to neighbouring islands. You will need a car for supermarket and bottle shop visitis (definitely pre book a hire car prior to arriving at Proserpine airport). We plan on being regular visitors and can't recommend this home more highly.

The apartment was exactly like the pictures. Perfect location. Walking distance to shops/ restaurants/ beach/ lagoon / pier. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Very friendly. Check in was very easy. Place was very clean and in a quiet street. Perfect spot for our honeymoon. Would love to stay again one day.

We were informed that our accomodation was double booked 2 weeks before our trip - which is a totally avoidable mistake on the company's end. BUT, I want to thank the staff over at Airlie beach that were able to find us another accommodation in the same area and provide us with a stay still in our price range.
We stayed at The Crabpot for 3 nights and can not recommend it enough. The apartment was spacious, very clean, had great AC, good views, and reclining couches that allowed us to relax after a full day out. Parking spots were easy to access, and the apartment is a short 10min walk to the main strip.
Overall, I thank the team for taking care of us after the hiccup, and we enjoyed our stay at The Crabpot.

This was a lovely place to base ourselves for our long Whitsunday weekend - beautiful, restful view and magnificent bath. The apartment has everything we needed. A word of warning, the hill up and down into town is not for the faint-hearted and the driveway down to the department is pretty steep too. Do yourself a favour and get a hire car 🙂
